      Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest cities in the world. It holds a prominent place in the Hindu mythology as well and is considered the microcosm of Hinduism itself. Within this city’s limits is the Ramnagar Fort which is located near the Ganges .
